QLD FBI host events for the Food and Beverage Industry.
We invite restaurant owners/managers, chefs, front of house, local producers & suppliers to meet, establish relationships and generate opportunities with likeminded individuals, media and Government Departments.
Some of the great things that come about through FBI over a coffee or a wine:
Media get a fresh story on a person, a place or a product
Producers get to market their product to restaurants and distributors
Wine suppliers get onto a wine list
Chefs get a seasonal idea or fresh local product for their menus which also reduces food miles
Government departments are able to meet with all in the industry

History in a Nutshell
In March 2005, Martin Duncan, owner of Freestyle Tout and Freestyle Escape, launched the Queensland Food Beverage Industry (FBI), the perfect vehicle for networking in the hospitality industry.
In 2007 FBI extended to the Sunshine Coast with the events held in both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast 4 times a year (seasonally) to showcase local produce for each season to chefs, restaurateurs and media.
2010 sees the launch of the Food and Beverage Industry website portal and many more exciting things are planned to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
